Once again, this year, the Consortium for the Protection of Gorgonzola Pdo Cheese will be present at Sial in Paris (Hall 7 Stand 7\/B109<\/u><\/strong>), scheduled from October 19 to 23<\/strong>, 2024<\/strong>, at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Park. This edition, which celebrates 60 years of the Paris Trade Fair event, will be themed “Own the Change” <\/strong>to highlight the importance of the sector’s transformations and address global food challenges.<\/p>\n

Sial is considered a must-attend event for the food industry worldwide, and again this year, it promises to be crucial for companies and decision-makers due to the expected numbers. 285,000 operators are expected, including 130 exhibiting countries and 8,000 major buyers <\/strong>(75 % international visitors), with a total buying power of 50 billion euros. 83% of buyers say they have made purchases on-site or immediately after the Fair, making SIAL strategic for 9 out of 10 visitors. The presence of Made in Italy food and wine will be impressive, with an exhibition area of about 17,000 square meters and ranks first in the dairy sector, ahead of France itself (source <\/em>https:\/\/www.italyexport.net\/presentazione-fiere\/sial-parigi-19-23-ottobre-2024\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the French market has become the main reference in Gorgonzola exports.
